Valence Pharmaceuticals is a mutual aid project. We exist because access to hormone therapy is gatekept by systems that fail the people who need it most, whether through cost, geographic barriers, discriminatory providers, or policies that treat bodily autonomy as something to be earned. We believe that shouldn't be the case.
We're a small group of trans people with backgrounds in chemistry and harm reduction. We compound injectable estradiol under controlled conditions, test every batch through an independent lab, and distribute at cost. Nobody here is getting rich. This is community care, not commerce.
We are not licensed pharmacists. Our products are not FDA-approved. We compound outside regulated pharmaceutical infrastructure. We say this plainly because honesty is the foundation of trust. We maintain the highest standards we can: ISO 5 clean hood compounding, pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, independent HPLC testing on every batch. But we will never claim parity with licensed manufacturing. If you have access to prescription HRT through a provider you trust, please use it. We exist for those who don't.
Every batch is compounded under an ISO 5 clean hood with HEPA-filtered air. We use pharmaceutical-grade hormone powder and USP-grade MCT carrier oil. We know that people will self-medicate whether or not we exist. Our goal is to make that as safe as possible. That means tested products, transparent processes, honest communication about what we are and aren't, and clear dosing information. We'd rather you have access to something verified than resort to untested alternatives.
